Would you believe it?
I've actually read six books (yes, six) in five days! From Monday until Friday night. Some of you might say, it's not a big deal, others can read more in five days. But it wasn't only reading that I was doing this week so I must say, this is the craziest reading spree I had in a long, long time.
Here are the books I've read this week:
1. For One More Day by Mitch Albom
This is the book that started it. Kidding. My Mom left it here in the apartment when she came over for a visit last weekend. She didn't actually say it but I guess she wanted me to read it. She even hinted that she had read it already. This is a great book, just like every one that Mr. Albom has written.
2. Ten Things We Did (And Probably Shouldn't Have) by Sarah Mlynowski
Well, this book got me curious. The last one that I had read that was written by Sarah Mlynowski was Milkrun which was, btw, her debut novel. So I got curious when I learned that this is another of her books and I had no idea about it. Then I found out that since Milkrun, she had written more books (that I had no idea of.) Good one, girl!
3. All American Girl by Meg Cabot
I've already read this book in high school, all those years ago. And it may seem like I was too old for this, I still reread it because I wanted to remember the story.
4. Ready or Not by Meg Cabot
Naturally, when you read a book and it has a sequel and you can't get enough of it, you of course, read the next book. So that was it.
5. Pretty Little Liars: Ali's Pretty Little Lies by Sarah Shepard
I was reading Pretty Little Liars last year but then I got tired of the looong winding story and was itching to know the truth I gave up halfway (I even forgot which book I stopped reading) and just googled the story. But of course it didn't really lead me to knowing about the details so I got curious when I saw this and thought that, "Hey, I have to read this!". So now I know the truth. But it still is not enough. Lol.
6. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith
Lastly, I can never let pass an opportunity to read a book that's set in the airport, where two strangers meet. And to top it all off, it was a story of chances and decisions that make up love and the thrill of it.
So there you go! That had been my crazy reading spree for this week. Those books are all great by the way, so you have to read them too!
Good nighty,
M
